EnzymeBase

An open record of enzyme targets and their natural inhibitors

EnzymeBase catalogs enzymes implicated in neurodegenerative disease, starting with BACE1 and AChE, alongside candidate natural inhibitors from Indonesian biodiversity, beginning with the genus Uncaria. Every entry is marked by how far along its evidence is, from an in-silico prediction to a validated, citable record. Read more about the project on the About page.

NoteStatus: early stage

EnzymeBase is in active development. No entries are yet published as validated, citable records. See Entries for the current format and status of what’s in progress.

How it works

EnzymeBase follows an open pipeline, from identifying a disease-relevant enzyme target through to a citable record other researchers can build on. See Platform for the four stages.
